CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

This conference focuses on the fire environment. It willl provide attendees with the latest innovations in wildland fire science, examples of successful and maybe not so successful management practices, and current and potentially future wildland fire policy. The conference program includes presentations by internationally respected experts in wildland fire as well as workshops, a staff ride and a prescribed fire event.The site of the conference, the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is located in the Florida Panhandle, an area rich in wildland fire history and practice.
